Todd Berry has been named the male athlete of the month for October. Berry is a small business and entrepreneurship major, after recently switching from business marketing. He finds a way to balance school and work, while still making time for the soccer team.
“Berry is our defensive anchor, a vocal leader and a good student,” said Coach Doug Fisher. "As one of our strongest defenders, he demonstrates week in and week out. what that looks like."
When asked about what he likes about the team, Berry said “We have built it into a cohesive unit that wants to work together. We stay positive and look to pick each other up to make sure we continue to do our part as a team.”
Berry attended Cedar Cliff High School, where he played soccer, tennis and baseball. Currently, he works at Al’s Pizza as a delivery driver. In his free time, Berry likes to hang out with friends and family.
Berry is looking forward to the rest of the season, as he tries to help his team make an appearance at the national tournament.
