Gleason Named Female Athlete of the Month

Madeline Gleason is the female athlete of the month for October.

She is an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) major, with a 3.07 GPA. Gleason spends most of her time working and doing school assignments, but still finds time to play the sport she loves the most.

“Many times, players like Madeline are forgotten due to their position, but she deserves to be recognized. She rarely misses a practice and has never missed a game,” stated Coach Ubaldo Murillo.

When asked what she loves most about the team, she said “the coaches really care about each and every one of us. They are really encouraging and always want us to do our best. All of the girls get along, and we have all become really close in such a short time.”

Gleason attended West Perry High School, where she played soccer. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and hanging out with friends and family.

Gleason currently has one goal and two assists, and is looking to build on that as she tries to help her team continue their undefeated season.
