Owen Zell Student Athlete of the Month
Central Penn College would like to congratulate Owen Zell on being named Student Athlete of the Month for the month of April! Our Student Athlete of the Month award is not only someone who excels on the field/court, but someone who takes pride in academics and is involved in community service/leadership. Thanks so much to our partnership with Duck Donuts, we are able to provide our honorees with some Duck Donuts merch as well as gift cards for a dozen of their amazing donuts!

I am nominating Owen Zell!
Student Athlete of The Month for April from our Baseball Team is Owen Zell. Owen is a Junior from Lebanon, PA. Owen Zell is the leader in the USCAA in stolen bases with a total of 43. Owen also has played in every game this season with a .340 batting average and has scored 42 runs, which is a school record. In his spare time Owen also gives fielding lessons to younger kids in the community at local baseball facilities.
Not only is Owen an inspiration to his players on the field he is one off the field as well. He is the guy on the team that makes sure everyone is eating right and they are going to the gym doing their workouts as planned. Owen was just named a National USCAA Academic All-American which is a very prestigious honor for student-athletes who maintain a minimum 3.5GPA.
